would be pleased to know that the Medical Humanities Group of Medical
Education Unit, UCMS & GTB Hospital, Delhi, is continuing ‘Confluence’- VI. Confluence is the medical humanities lecture
series of UCMS and in its sixth edition Ms Madhu Bala Sharma will be speaking
on the topic- ‘Broadening Horizons: Looking
beyond disability.’
Madhu Sharma is an IBM Global Process Services (formerly IBM
Daksh) employee and recipient of National Award for
Empowering Persons with Disability in the ‘Role model' category from President
of India.
Confluence-VI will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 between 1.00- 2.00 pm at Conference
Hall, Library Block, UCMS & GTBH, Delhi. This event will also kick start
sensitization activities to celebrate ‘International
Day of Persons with Disabilities’ earmarked on 3rd Dec. The
event is jointly hosted by Enabling Unit and Infinite Ability.
